Title:For the Love of Gaia: Art and Environmentalism
Description:

Explore how artists are influenced by big, global ideas such as environmental concerns, and how those ideas impact their choices for subjects, materials, and approaches. A flexible unit covering up to nine weeks of lessons, featuring videos of artist statements and close examinations of quilts from the For the Love of Gaia exhibition; built in collaboration with the Lincoln Public Schools Visual Arts program.

This unit available as a Google slides presentation. Students will need access to paper and writing utensils or digital equivalent.
