VFT Information
Title:Quilts in Schools: Live and Asynchronous Sessions

Any educator is welcome to contact us about interest in a live or offline virtual experience on the topic of quilting. Topics and timeframes are flexible, ranging from current exhibitions, story quilts, international quilts, quilting history, and more. Live presentations are capped at one hour in length.

Live lesson with interactive activity. Any specific supporting materials and/or non-virtual components list will be provided via email.

Description:The International Quilt Museum's mission is to build a global collection and audience that celebrate the cultural and artistic significance of quilts. The International Quilt Museum is located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's East Campus at 33rd and Holdrege streets. The museum has the world's largest publicly held quilt collection, dating from the early 1700s to present and representing more than 60 countries.
