Description:This course introduces multicultural studies through the investigation of the physical and human geography, history, and cultures of the continents of Africa, Asia, Australia, the Pacific Realm and Antarctica. Through this course students will develop an understanding of the interactions between geography and the cultures that have influenced the lifestyles and challenges faced by various groups over time throughout these regions. This course will help students gain a greater understanding of their own culture and realize how diverse cultural traditions affect their lives and the lives of others. This course will encourage students to actively participate in the culturally diverse world in which they live.
