Course Name:Government and Politics

Description:This semester long course is a study of the foundations of our government system, including the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Political science issues and regular analysis of current events provide interactive opportunities to practice participatory democracy through the use of media literacy and civil discourse skills. Students are required to complete a service-learning project as a part of the course.
