2 Hrs. of Dual Credit CCC Columbus, NE (MUST TAKE BOTH 1250 & 1260)
Overview: This course is designed for students pursuing careers in allied health fields and who have minimal background in physical and biological sciences with an optional self-review of chemistry necessary to understand biological processes. The CODEC system will provide visual contact for lecture, discussions, grading, videos or a variety of learning options. All assignments will be scheduled using McGraw Hill connect ED course management. Chapters: Introduction to Human Anatomy & Physiology; Cells; Cellular Metabolism; Tissues; Skin and the Integumentary System; Skeletal System; Muscular System; Nervous System; Somatic and Special  Senses; Blood; Cardiovascular System; Digestion and Nutrition; Respiratory System; Reproductive Systems; Endocrine System; Lymphatic System & Immunity; Urinary System; Water, Electrolyte, and Acid-Base Balance; Pregnancy, Growth and Development WE COVER ALL CHAPTERS except 2 Chemical Basis of Life.

Martin (Sheir, Butler & Lewis)Schools need to purchase NEW LAB Manuals & CONNECTION from Arcadia Public Schools. Laptop preferred(or desktop computer in Distance Learning Room) Codec/Zoom, CANVAS, texts, Google Classroom & email are all forms of communication. High Speed Internet at home is optional but very beneficial for homework Class time +/- 5 min.
