Description:Animal science is the study of farm and ranch animals.WE
study each species, breeds, tools, diseases.  We do some livestock judging and learn replacement type and we will be also adding a special new nutrition  unit using hay samples from home and adding the COWCULATOR to balance rations based on their own herds and hay!!  We mainly focus on sheep, beef, dairy, horses, swine......They must have access to computers and moodle accounts.  This is an upper level class for self starters. There needs to be a proctor in the room.  There are presentations using lots of different technology and resources!!
