- Urban Nation
- Reform
- Imperialism
- Great Depression
- World War I and Roaring 20's
- New Deal
- America In Second World War

Students will use selected readings, videos, and numerous Internet-based resources and tools during this course.

Success in this class hinges largely on the student’s motivation to work and learn independently while being part of a learning community. Students are expected to actively participate in their learning community by posting to discussion boards, blog posts, and by completing all individual and group projects.
