Overview: This course is designed for students pursuing careers in allied health fields and who have minimal background in physical and biological sciences with an optional self-review of chemistry necessary to understand biological
processes. The CODEC system will provide visual contact for lecture,
discussions, grading, videos or a variety of learning options. All assignments will be scheduled using Schoology a Course Management Software.
Covered chapters include: Introduction to Human Anatomy and Physiology; Cells; Cellular Metabolism; Tissues; Skin and the Integumentary System; Skeletal System; Muscular System; Nervous System; Somatic and Special Senses; Blood; Cardiovascular System; Digestion and Nutrition; Respiratory System; Reproductive Systems
The following chapters are only covered if time allows: Chemical Basis of Life; Endocrine System; Lymphatic System and Immunity; Urinary System; Water, Electrolyte, and Acid-Base Balance; Pregnancy, Growth, and Development WE COVERED ALL CHAPTERS except 2 Chemical Basis of Life in 2019-2020! |
