Description:This FCS course helps prepare students for the task of parenting and for working with children in various careers.  The course focuses on how to meet children’s developmental needs in each stage of growth.  Study centers on physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development from the prenatal stage through the preschool-age years.  Observation and participation with young children may be a practical learning experience for students in this course.
