Course Name:Beginning Digital Art

Description:Students will use technology to create their own personal artistic style through the creative process. The power of visual culture is explored and integrated into project work. Projects may include image manipulation, illustration, typography and animation. The Adobe software used is industry standard for graphic designers and digital artists. Students should be interested in using technology to create/save digital files, explore online resources, etc. Meets fine arts or technology requirements.

Prerequisites:Students must have access to a computer with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash (Animate), version CS6 or later, and access to a digital camera.
