| Description: | Group instrumental lessons (up to 5 students) are offered through a special partnership between the Educational Service Units Coordinating Council and the Manhattan School of Music in New York. Group lessons can be purchased at a reduced cost and scheduled on any week day from 7:30 AM - 8:15 AM CST (other times can be accommodated by making arrangements with MSM in advance). In order to reserve lessons for students at your school click on the ENROLL NOW option in the course section details and indicate the number of students that will take this series of lessons.Then send an email to groethem@esucc.org giving the specific date(s) and time that you want to schedule lessons, plus what instrument(s) the lessons will be for and we will put you in touch with MSM to finalize arrangements.
Group lessons are available in 40-45 minute sessions and partner schools may select either a classical or jazz emphasis. Brass, wind, string, piano, and percussion group lessons are available, as well as jazz music and improvisation lessons. Instruction will cover areas from technique and analysis to musical and stylistic interpretation. Group lessons are available for advanced beginners through advanced level learners. |

| Comments: | Group Instrumental Lessons: Cost $600 for a series of 10 group lessons over a period of 10 weeks. Average group sizes for lessons range from 4 to 8 students. (Individual school holiday and vacation schedules will be accommodated to arrange the 10 weekly sessions.) |
