Course Name:Lifetime Wellness

Description:A course designed to develop an understanding of
the principles necessary for promoting lifetime wellness.  The focus will be on a holistic approach to
recognizing and evaluating oneself in order to improve one’s own quality of
life.  The course will include a study of
critical issues which affect the individual, such as: wellness, mental health,
stress management, nutrition and weight control, physical fitness,
noninfectious diseases, immunity and infection, alcohol, tobacco, and drug
abuse, consumer and environmental health, the challenge of aging, intimate
relationships, sexuality, pregnancy and childbirth.
