Course Name:Digital Graphic Design
Entity:Lincoln Information Tech Focus Program
Description:Students create digital graphics while learning industry-standard software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign). Students assume role of graphic designer & produce marketing materials for fictional company. Flash, DreamWeaver & Fireworks introduced.
Grade Levels:9 - 12
Prerequisites:Access to a computer with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign (CS4 or CS5). Trial versions OK for Flash, DreamWeaver and Fireworks. Students must be able to use free “join.me” and “Dropbox.com” solutions over the network.
