Course Name:Companion Animal Science - S2

Description:This course is an overview of the career opportunities and job responsibilities of zoo keepers, lab animal technicians, pet shop workers, dog groomers, kennel operators, and veterinary assistants.  The semester will include companion animal production, care, health, feeding, grooming, reproduction and breed identification.  Also included will be the selection and evaluation of halter and performance horses.

LMS instructions:Students will be assigned an Angel account with the Broken Bow School system.  This will be a CASE Certified Animal Science class with each school using up to $1,000.00 worth of LabQuest Scientific equipment on loan from Broken Bow Ag Ed depending on availability.   Lab materials not provided by your science department will be available for each school.  Applicable fees will be charged.  Any questions, please contact Lonnie Koepke.
