Description:This course establishes a solid foundation of prefixes, suffixes, word roots, abbreviations, medical terms, and symbols. It emphasizes understanding the medical vocabulary as it applies to the anatomy, physiology, pathology, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic procedures of the human body.

Prerequisites:High School Biology is a mandatory prerequisite Physical Science is recommended Anatomy & Physiology is a very highly recommended prerequisite or co-requisite Chemistry is suggested as another science class for Pre-Med students
Comments:Class time may change depending on Arcadia HS schedule. M-Th. 2:40-3:30 (+/- 5 min) Class on Friday is from 1:36-2:17 and flexible as a study hall if schedules don't align.
